Greetings CTIA Friends,

It seems like a lifetime ago when we made the only choice we had - to suspend our final rehearsals and to cancel our March 2020 performance of BELIEVE, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, as we move in to a new season, we wanted to provide an update on our organization's plans and strategy moving forward.

As you may know, in early 2021 we officially chose to "Pause & Protect" the class and program model that we created during our 2019/2020 season, and decided to wait to begin programming until we could safely come together in class settings.

That time has finally come!

Today we're thrilled to share a step towards a new normal. As you'll read below, CTIA will be offering an afternoon week-long class in August as we dip our toes into summer and in-person programming.

During this time we will also be exploring the feasibility of planning a 2021/2022 program. While we anticipate that our model will look different in this new era, we very much hope to be able to bring young people together again to explore the arts and to cultivate kindness, empathy and to experience the joy so many of us found in community during classes in our 2019/2020 program.

We hope to see many of you in August!

With Gratitude,
Jane Woodcox
Executive Director

CONNECTED MOVEMENT WITH ASL - August 9 - 13

In this inclusive week-long afternoon summer class, CTIA students will explore the joy of movement and dance in a supportive environment emphasizing human connection and communication while students learn to theatrically interpret music using American Sign Language.
