Today we are thinking about CTIA Believers - our students, teachers, staff, families, musicians and our supporters - on what would have been our performance day. *
We had almost finished sorting out head shots of students and staff before our work came to a halt 12 days ago, but we wanted to share the kindness of production manager Jay Sheehan and one of his students at SDSU for sending along this montage, from what had been collected to that point, in honor of BELIEVE. In light of the current environment, the memories of our time in the classroom building relationships, creating art and exploring the power of music together seems even sweeter even though we can't share the power of our work in a community celebration. *
CTIA students - KEEP BEING YOU AND CREATING ART - sing, dance, paint, play, create, and believe in yourself. And remember, someone always has your back! All of the above is even more important than ever! *
We also want to acknowledge and thank Atlas Gray in particular (serving as our headliner and house band) as well as Carrie Johnson Nekita Waller & Robbie Schaefer who had been preparing to perform, travel, and to donate a significant amount time to our show, and we hope everyone tunes in to these generous, talented artists in the days to come! #stillgrateful #believe2020 #inclusionrules #keepbelieving #CTIA
