Greetings CTIA Friends!
As a difficult year comes to a close, we wanted to spread some holiday cheer and good news with our community! In September we shared how two of our partner organizations were offering on-line classes and today we're happy to share their winter offerings below! Both organizations have perfected and proven that meaningful connections and growth occurs in these spaces, and we are proud to share these opportunities!
In addition, we are excited to invite CTIA students, volunteers and teachers from our 2019/2020 year to stop by our community partner BeanZ & Co. on Tuesday, December 29th (between 11:30-2:00 pm) or on Wednesday, December 30th (between 2:00-4:30pm) for a quick visit to receive a year-end gift from CTIA plus special access to a video tribute featuring our BELIEVE headliner band Atlas Gray. We will be masked and tabling in a socially safe way, and would love to have a moment or two in person to honor everyone and the spirit of Believing in 2021! If you feel comfortable, please come enjoy a hot chocolate or treat at BeanZ, and lets celebrate the end of 2020! Thanks to BeanZ for hosting us and for continuing to nourish our community with their warm welcome, inclusive environment and comfort food!
WINTER 2021 CLASSES:
FreeHorse Arts has been running powerful 4 week sessions that began earlier this year for young adults of diverse abilities ages 18 and older! We were thrilled to hear that a handful of CTIA students have been participating and thoroughly enjoying their wonderful offerings this fall. Details via the link provided.
Hartford Stage who also ran engaging and successful on-line summer and fall classes are ready for more this winter, offering classes for ages 5 and up! Also: Monday, December 21st is the last evening to enjoy their family friendly presentation of A Community Carol - an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
As you can see, creativity continues - albeit differently - and we are grateful to lean on the hard work of these organizations to keep CTIA students connected and inspired through these classes. Be sure to follow the links provided to see all of their wonderful opportunities!
