KC BEAUREGARD, MA, MT-BC

KC is a board-certified music therapist who works primarily with students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. After getting her Bachelors of Music in Musical Theater from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, KC moved up to Boston to pursue her Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in music therapy from Lesley University. Since graduating, KC has returned home to Connecticut and now works at the American School for the Deaf in the PACES Program* as a counselor/music therapist and moonlights at CREC Soundbridge (an oral program for students with hearing loss) and Connecticut Music Therapy Services. KC also serves on the boards of Hear Here Hartford, an organization dedicated to empowering teens and young adults to overcome their daily challenges related to hearing loss, and CAST Children’s Theater in Manchester, CT. In her free time, KC can often be found rehearsing for shows at Little Theater of Manchester or the Warner Stage Company and playing guitar/singing with friends.

*The PACES Program is a residential treatment program at the American School for the Deaf for students with significant emotional and behavioral challenges.

JON STOLTZFUS

Jon is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in music business and drumset performance. He has toured with Grammy Award winning Albert Lee and continues to manage and tour with his original project, Atlas Gray. In addition to extensive touring, Jon has been a respected teacher in Greater Hartford for 10 years and continues to teaching drumset and percussion extensively. Jon’s teaching style welcomes every skill level and allows for fun yet productive lessons adapting to each student goals and learning style. Jon offers training in most styles (rock, funk, R&B, etc.) in addition to music theory, music business management and more.
