Two classes are underway with two new classes beginning in January!
The last two weeks of classes have been a joy and a dream come true. Teachers, students and volunteers coming together and putting our mission in to action after a year of planning is more powerful than we even imagined. The Sign Language Choir and Visual Art class has been working to learn their first song, "True Colors" and painting in acrylic on canvas at The Ethel Walker School. But that just tells part of the story, the real story is students making new friends, learning together and pushing themselves in new ways. The Percussion Junction and Jam class at the American School for the Deaf is learning different rhythm patterns but also how to conduct and follow a fellow student's lead. It is magical to be a part of these classes and we are so excited to continue on our journey to BELIEVE 2020.
