SAVANA JONES
Savana is a native of Hartford and the Founder/ Artistic Director of her production company, "Rhythms In Color!". At age eight she began her studies in dance at The Artist Collective doing African dance under the tutelage of Aca Lee Thompson. From that point on, she continued studying in many styles of dance including jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern, and social dancing. Graduating as a Dance Major from The Hartford Conservatory in 2009, is now a well-known dance instructor and choreographer in the Greater Hartford district.
Katie Bittner
Katherine grew up in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and trained in classical ballet from age 9 through high school. She attended the University of Hartford and graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in dance pedagogy in May, 2016. She has taught dance for the CDF Freedom School and CREC programs, Nutmeg Conservatory in Torrington CT, and Ballet Theatre Company in West Hartford. Her performance experience includes works from choreographers Adam Barruch, Doug Varone, and Takehiro Ueyama. Additional experience includes Limon repertoire, Martha Graham’s Diversion of Angels, excerpts from Balanchine’s Four Temperaments, renditions of Petrushka and Carmen, and Rodgers and Hart’s “On Your Toes.” Katie currently works as a freelancer, and has most recently performed with Hartford-based theatre company Playhouse on Park, and The Dance Collective.
